However, its replacement, iFit, is much more powerful, and actually provides similar objects and functionalities. Please visit http://ifit.mccode.org to learn about it, and download/test. There is also a standalone version which provides a free Matlab with iFit preloaded. In particular, the syntax you aim to use can be done with the iData objects (equivalent to spec1d). Converting your scripts from pec1d to iFit should be straightforward. Cheers, Emmanuel. Le 2013-10-01 15:11, Aldus, Robert a ?crit : > Dear Emmanuel, > > I am a long time user of spec1D. You can get it at . Both source code, and standalone versions for all systems are available. I encourage you to update the package, in particular for those of you importing text files such as McStas/McXtrace ones. An annoying bug was fixed in the generic text reader. Changes: 1.5.1: fix for the importation of McStas/McXtrace files. Added technical documentation. Fix in binary iFunc operators (Guess). Fix for the R-factor determination. Fix in text importer (looktxt). Cheers, Emmanuel. -- FARHI Emmanuel Groupe DS/CS, ILL4/156, Tel 04 76 20 71 35 ILL, Grenoble
